Welcome

A Bed & Breakfast Inn located in Historic Downtown Hendersonville

The historic Claddagh Inn, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, has been welcoming visitors to Hendersonville for more than a hundred years. We are located downtown on Main Street putting us within convenient walking distance of quaint shops, numerous galleries and many unique and fabulous restaurants. In addition, Hendersonville’s Main Street hosts many festivals, street dances and concerts – all for the enjoyment of our guests. Parades at Christmas, the September Apple Festival and Homecoming pass directly in front of our spacious front porch. The recent additions of downtown locations of the Flat Rock Playhouse and Hendersonville Little Theatre put Broadway caliber shows within a few blocks of your room.

Our bed and breakfast has sixteen rooms, all with private baths, and some with claw foot tubs. Each room has a phone, TV, air conditioning and wireless internet. We have rooms with twin beds, queens and kings. Many will accommodate families and two rooms can be turned into spacious suites.

Guests awaken to a full home-cooked breakfast featuring juice, coffee, tea, fresh fruit, delicious baked goods, cereals and an alternating selection of hot items such as bacon, ham, or sausage, eggs, quiches, pancakes or waffles. Breakfast is served in the dining room from 8:30 to 9:30 every morning. We can make arrangements to accommodate special dining requests. In the late afternoon, wine and light refreshments are served in the library or on the front porch.

The Claddagh Inn is an excellent launching point for short drives to witness the breathtaking beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Pisgah National Forest, Dupont State Forest, Blue Ridge Parkway and Chimney Rock Park. TheBiltmore House and the Carl Sandburg Home are nearby. Hendersonville provides some of the finest craft and antique shops in North Carolina, exceptional dining, and excellent cultural events, such as productions at the Flat Rock Playhouse, performances at the Brevard Music Center and the year-round Hendersonville Symphony Orchestra.

The inn’s name is pronounced CLAD-uh. For more information, reservations and room availability call us at 866-770-2999 or send us an e-mail.
